Christmas: #JingleMingle / My Prezzybox Blogger’s Gift Guide
Fair warning: if you’re the type of person to be easily offended by language, maybe bypass this post because it’ll include frequent use of a little word beginning with C… Christmas! It’s getting to that time of year again and I’m on the verge of getting very, very excited — even if it is a bit early.
A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to attend a fabulously festive event in Nottingham put on by the lovely folk at Prezzybox. The Jingle Mingle was an evening of Christmassy workshops, gorgeous gift displays, and an exclusive industry insight panel with Nottingham-bred Becky Sheeran from Talk Becky Talk — with free bubbly to boot!
As well as a gift-wrapping station, a Perfume Studio London workshop, and a swanky sparkly photobooth backdrop for all your prop-wielding desires, Prezzybox laid out an awesome selection of their newest, best-selling present ideas for us to have a look at, and were even generous enough to pop a few in a goody-bag for each of us to try out for ourselves! Personally I’m a li’l in love with my unicorn shower cap.
So, without further ado, here is my first Christmassy content of the season: my Prezzybox Gift Guide!
Add a bit of edge to the washing up with this cheeky fella. This tea towel is 100% cotton and would make a funny but useful stocking filler — definitely would’ve come in handy at uni!
For those of us not so blessed in the culinary skills department (a.k.a. me), this little book would make a welcome addition to the kitchen shelves. Mug cakes are, after all, so last year.
Not as good as a fully blown DSLR, but let’s be honest, significantly cheaper! I’ve been thinking about investing in a mid-range camera for my blog photos, but this would do the trick. Perfect for the aspiring photographer (or even newbie blogger) in your circle!
That professional go-getter in your life might not always have the luxury of getting comfy with their cuppa. This elegant, insta-worthy travel mug is a lovely way to help them stay chic on their commute and let them know how awesome you think they are.
‘Tequila Mockingbird’ Cocktail Recipe Book | £8.99
Three things I love: books, booze, and a bloody good pun. Complete with 65 recipes and even drinking games, I smell a fabulous girls’ night in on the horizon.
There’s something oddly pleasing about tupperware, and cute designs like these aren’t exactly ten a penny. They’re just so twee and adorable, I can’t cope. I’d actually want to take the time to make a lovely lunch with these in the cupboard.
A super cute addition to any makeup bag, and you can put any message on it that you want! Keep it simple with just your gal pal’s name, or big up her face with a bodyposi slogan.
You know that friend who’s forever posting pictures on Facebook from yet another continent every other weekend and you’re secretly a bit jealous but they’re having a bangin’ time so it’s okay? You just found their Christmas present.
Personalised Gold Pineapple Pendant | £12.99
Simple, elegant, a bit quirky but ridiculously pretty, and the personalisation adds a thoughtful finishing touch. It’s also gold-plated and comes with its own certificate of authenticity!
A pamper session with a bit of a twist! If you have a friend who’s obsessed with tea (and let’s be honest, in England we all do), then why not have them bathe in it? Choose from five scents, each one containing flower petals, sea salts and essential oils. Sounds like my cuppa tea… sorry.
