Welcome to the start of another month, and another season! It’s generally accepted on the blogosphere that autumn is the best time of year, so I’m not alone in saying I’m pretty damn excited for frosty mornings, cosy evenings, crunchy leaves, Halloween, chunky knitwear and all things pumpkin.
My last burst of summer was pretty eventful, though. First, I went to my first blogger event at CaBella Boutique in Nottingham City Centre. There I met blogger buddy Robyn, and sat in on a couple of makeup demonstrations where the lovely staff shared their best tips and tricks. Next, my brother took me to the Harry Potter Studio Tour at Warner Bros. Studios, and it was – are you ready for this? – magical. Then the boyf and I went on our first holiday together down to Cornwall; we stayed in a cute railway cottage, visited the nearby beaches, sunbathed (weather permitting), ate ice creams and pasties, necked several pints of cider and even got chance to visit my dad, his wife and the puppers. Lastly, my friend Rach and I went to Leeds Festival on the Sunday, where we covered ourselves in glitter and sat in the sun with a few frosty pints before watching the one and only Eminem perform on the main stage — all in all, a bloody brilliant month.
